Just want to give my opinion on some current and recently retired players that seem either to be "shoe-ins" or "maybe's".

Griffey: Yes
Pujols: Yes
Chipper: Yes
Jason Giambi: No, And not because of steroid use 
Pedro:Yes
Mussina:No
Damon:No
Renteria:No
Schilling:Yes
Randy Johnson:Yes
Manny: Yes
David Ortiz: No
Ichiro:Yes
Beltran:Yes
Halladay: No
Biggio:Yes
Roberto Alomar:Yes
Maddux:Yes
Bernie Williams:Yes
Glaus:No
Nomar:No

  1. i agree with the majority of your list, but i disagree on halladay. just because he pitches for the blue jays, he's still been pretty good. he's 131 and 66 with a 3.51 career era, and last year he went 20 and 11 on a team with a homerun leader with 20 home runs and the most rbi are 79. halladay will make the hall, especially if he leaves the jays and goes to a team with an offense. i can understand why you dont think Papi will make it, he hasnt been good for long enough. the fact of the matter is, he probably will make it to 400 homeruns, and will make it to 300 this season. overall, the current list here is accurate, but there are a lot of others we could write about.
